How to Install wordpress Theams

Installing WordPress themes is actually so simple that it will likely take you longer to find the theme you would like to use, than it will take you to install it. You will still be able to customize the theme, but it will give you a starting point to work from while you are working on improving your coding and CSS skills.

STEP 1 – UPLOAD WORDPRESS THEME TO YOUR SERVER

download and unzip the WordPress themes to your computer, upload the new folder (with the files left inside) to the themes directory of your blog, which is located within the wordpress content directory.

STEP 2 – ACTIVATE WORDPRESS THEMES

Now it is simply a matter of activating the specific theme you uploaded to your server, from the admin panel of your blog.

Click on the PRESENTATION tab from the admin panel.

Scroll down until you see the theme that you uploaded and then click on SELEC

STEP 3 VIEW YOUR WORDPRESS THEME

Click on VIEW SITE at the top of the page.

Check your site (with the new theme activated) in various screen resolutions, and also in different browsers, including Internet Explorer and Firefox.
